Re: Guided Tours at the Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo


The Friends of the Pana ewa Zoo invite you to bring your students to the Zoo for a guided tour with our docents. Tours can be designed to fit your group's interests and needs.

Below is a PDF* registration form to help us plan for your tour. Please make copies of this form as needed during the year. Fill out the form completely and fax to the zoo at the Friends of the Zoo number: 959-7224. We require two weeks notice before you plan to bring your students to the Zoo. If we do not have this advanced notice, we may not be able to provide a guide for your tour.

If you need more information please call the Friends of the Zoo at 959-7224 and leave a message with your question or concern and remember to let us know how we can get in touch with you.

We have also made guidelines suggesting how to prepare for and conduct your field trip to the Zoo. There is a zoo map PDF below.

The Friends of the Pana`ewa Zoo is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes the zoo. We train docents to lead tours; train volunteers for our Petting Zoo; provide animal enrichment activities; produce special educational and family events; and run the Zoo Gift Shop. We appreciate donations to the Friends of the Zoo, which are used for our programs and for the acquisition of new zoo animals.
